Been getting ready for the holidays...can't wait for them to get here!

Also, had to put a the clock idea off my plate for a bit because of a Secret Santa thing for work...the girl I got loves my art and I've decided to gift her with a pastel...

I also have several other pastels planned and hope to have done by New Year's...

I currently have a personal project going on that deals with me updating around the house, including new artwork to replace 'Good Nouveau' and 'Evil Nouveau'...

So...second day into June and I'm still bursting with ideas AND motivation to do them all...I'm quite surprised because it hardly ever happens that I have a ton of awesome ideas and the motivation to go through with them...usually I have the ideas but no motivation or I have the motivation, but no ideas...

Needless to say, I'm taking advantage of it and am going to keep finishing up past projects (a dragon I've been drawing on for several months now) and produce new ones...

I expect this month to be very busy...so keep checking back for updates...

Here I am, one week into May...and life just gets crazier and crazier...

In the meantime, I fixed a picture, finished a long awaited Christmas present, AND drew up a quick home-warming gift for a friend...

I'm still working on a few other projects, one of which is making a piggy bank of sorts (I looked all over and most stores in town DO NOT have any) so that I can save up for my koi half sleeve, inbetween dealing with work and family...

*Sad News: The local ArtSpace Gallery has closed due to the current economic recession and the fact that this part of Iowa is a farm community...Art is not really praised much here, so not many would shell out the necessary funds to own original pieces of work unless they were extremely cheap...so for now, every bit of art I make will go to friends and people who make impacts in my life...oh well, it'll get better*
